Residential Warranties
Warranties can offer you piece of mind knowing that if the roofer isn't around anymore, at least you have the papers that show you who made the materials and where you can find them in case there is a problem.
Not all warranties are the same. Some residential warranties are transferable, some are not, some start prorating the day the roof is done, some have a 5-10 year period before the depreciation starts, some cover labor and material if there is a problem and some only cover the materials. So make sure you shop around and do the research.
